Phase II SBIR contract from the US Navy
Tuesday, April 15th, 2008Westlake, Ohio - Western DataCom received a Phase II SBIR contract from the US Navy for $1.2 million dollars effective February, 2008. This contract is to continue the development of key management security algorithms for use in the next generation of the Internet Protocol 6 (IPv6). This security development will be in used in US government networks and eventually licensed to commercial Internet users who are upgrading their networks from the Internet Protocol 4 to IPv6.
Western DataCom has subcontracted part of this development contract to two other Westlake firms, Advantage Development and Syzygy Engineering. www.western-data.com
